We have been preparing some topics, being in the news a lot recently,
in the field of nuclear engineering technology. The class is designed not
only for students from abroad but Japanese students who want to get the
capability for keeping up with coming internationalization. We hope the
class will help you improve your English skills when you need to present
the results of your study at an international conference in the future.
The nuclear course is made up of four different topics as follows:

Basic Concept of Radiation Biology
An Introduction to the Strange world of Particle Physics. We will follow
the many discovery that physics walked from an atom to a quark.
Fundamental Study on Liquid Metal Technology
Future Development of Nuclear Energy including fuel cycle and
international system

There are no any prerequisites for taking the nuclear science course.
All you have to do is to attend each class and to keep your enthusiasm
continuing. Although you have trouble understanding at first, as you get used
to some technical terms appearing in our lectures, you may gradually become
interested in taking the subject in English. In our class, we will try to use
simple and basic words as possible as we can. You have often the chance to
answer the question in English. At that time, you are required to make an
effort to avoid speaking Japanese. Speaking Japanese is not allowed all the
time. If you give up taking the class on the half way, you canft attain
anything you want. Take it easy!
