This course is designed to provide students with opportunities to read 
international literature of sport science and physical education. 
In this course, we will start with reading articles you may be familiar 
with (ex: newspaper).  Next, we will learn structure of international 
academic paper and read through each construction, including abstract.  
Then, each student will select one academic paper in own field and present 
it in class.  We will also read and discuss contents of the article in 
group. Therefore, students are expected to read the article and prepare 
for discussion before attending each class.  As reading articles, students 
also learn vocabularies and expressions that are often used in English 
academic paper.
 At the end of this course, students will submit a 1-page research paper 
in English.

To successfully complete this course, students should be prepared to
 1) Attend at least 10 out of 15 meetings
 2) Read the assigned article before we intend to discuss it
 3) Be ready and able |and willing|to contribute to our in-group
